Meet Amy Masser, LCPC
Practicing since: 2011
Amy Masser graduated from Loyola University with a Masterβs degree in Pastoral Counseling. She was drawn to the counseling profession by a deep desire to help people who have lost their sense of joy rediscover hope, healing, and purpose.
Amy is a member of both the National Board for Certified Counselors and the American Counseling Association. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory and integrates evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and schema therapy. She has a special interest in supporting individuals navigating grief and pregnancy loss, as well as parents raising children with special needs. Amy also has experience working with adolescent girls and adult women facing a variety of life challenges.
Amy strives to create a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. Together, she and her clients explore patterns rooted in past experiences while identifying practical, meaningful changes that foster emotional growth, resilience, and lasting well-being.
Amy Masser, LCPC, is licensed in the state of Maryland (#LC5390).
