Patricia has always loved the idea of the “hero’s journey” in literature, in which the protagonist is called to go on an adventure filled with trials, allies and enemies, and involves an ordeal that takes him across a threshold into a new world, turning him into the hero of his story. Her LLC name is “A Hero’s Journey” to signify the importance of the journey that brings people to therapy. She sees her role as the mentor who helps to guide clients toward health and a brighter future by fighting the enemies of depression, anxiety, and overthinking, and enduring trials at work, in their relationships, or with executive functioning. She uses CBT, ACT, and DBT, along with other therapeutic approaches, to walk this journey with aspiring heroes. Patricia invites you to be one of them and looks forward to hearing your story!
